The night of the last New Moon, I did an impromptu pull of the cards while waiting for my kids get ready for story time.
Sometime in early January, I participated in a wonderful guided meditation. At a certain point in it, there was a pause to receive messages from your Ancestors. I remember leaning in to hear them speak, eager for any wisdom they may have for me. The one word I got from them was, “Run”.
Yesterday was the Fourth of July, and last night the City went big in its celebrations. After weeks of hearing fireworks go off in bits and spurts, there were numerous and constant booms from just before sundown to around midnight. This was heard from all directions - from the mountains to the ocean.
The subject of Dreams have been popping up lately for me. It’s there in conversations started with “I had the weirdest dream last night…” or mentions of Sandman or dreaming as good physical and spiritual health or excellent blog posts like Mist and Ether’s “Tarot Dreaming”...
There’s a saying in mountain biking that’s usually true - “Your bike will go where your eyes go.” This means that if you’re riding along a path and staring at the ditch alongside, eventually you’ll end up in it.
I’ve been taking a little break from social media. One night as I checked Twitter one last time before going to bed, I just thought - "OK. Enough with that.” It was one of those strong overriding thoughts that I usually pay attention to when I get them.

This week I completed a crochet dragon for my son. I can’t remember when I started it. Must have been last Summer. I put the finishing touches on it the day before the Lunar eclipse.
I love a good omen or sign, and look for them everywhere. They’ll come up in my day to day routine no matter what the day to day looks like. Recently, it’s been looking a lot like the inside of my house which means the omens are not so many.
